The world around us is filled with spiritual darkness—people searching for hope, peace, and purpose in places that can never truly satisfy. In this message from Matthew 5:14–16, we’re reminded that Jesus calls His followers to be the light that breaks through that darkness. This sermon challenges us to:

• Recognize the reality of the darkness—a world lost without direction, desperate for hope.

• Embrace our calling to shine, knowing that even a small light can make an eternal difference.

• Reflect the light of Jesus, understanding that we don’t shine on our own but by pointing others to Christ.

• Be intentional about reaching the lost, stepping out in faith to pray, invite, and share the gospel.

Just as the moon reflects the sun, we are called to reflect the Son. This message invites both believers and seekers to respond—either by coming out of the darkness into the light of Christ or by committing to shine brighter so others can find their way to Him.
